**I am also a CERTIFIED Postpartum Doula. If you find that you are in need of these services immediately (or very soon), please contact me via texting to the number below and we may be able to expediate services right away for you if necessary.
I am a certified and dedicated birth and postpartum doula and I live in Verona, Wisconsin, just outside of Madison.
I first became interested in becoming a doula while working in a large hospital network. I liked the way doulas were there to support all aspects of women giving birth and I knew that someday I wanted to learn more about it, and now here I am!
I have an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Wisonsin Rock County in Janesville, attended the Lutheran Deaconness Program at Concordia University River Forest, IL and also studied Spanish at Central College in Pella, IA and also at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
I volunteer throughout my community within several non-profits, the most prominent serving as the President of the FRIENDS of our local library for the last ten years and sew for charities such as LINUS for hospitalized children and teens and for Midwest Missions where the receiving blankets I make are sent to third world countries for newborns.
My hobbies include: quilting, sewing, writing, cross stitching, reading and baking and spending time with friends and family.
I am a strong advocate for women's rights and informed consent in childbirth. As a doula, I will support my clients physically and emotionally and also provide them with evidence-based information and FACTS while encouraging them to advocate for their needs throughout the birth journey.
