Birth Package Information

  • THE COMPLETE BUMP2BABY BIRTH PACKAGE

  • This is the general all-around birth package that includes:

  • 1 free consultation- It is suggested that you and your spouse or support person attend together or an additional fee of $25 will be charged for a second session.

  • Two (2 hr each) Prenatal Appointments in which doula will help to prepare parents for pregnancy, labor and birth. ANY questions you may have may be asked and discussed. The doula will answer them to the best of her ability using only evidence-based informational material.

  • The doula will demonstrate breathing techniques and comfort measures that may be used during labor to help ease discomfort.

  • A birth plan will be prepared and discussed.

  • The doula will help client to prepare to advocate for themselves what they want for their birth experience.

  • The doula will give 24/7 text, phone and email support from the time of contract signing.

  • The doula will give in person visits (in addition to the two in package) to provide needed support if necessary or suggested by caregiver. (In the case of a client on bedrest and etc. )

  • The doula will join clients before/when active labor begins and stay with them throughout the labor and delivery.

  • The doula will be there for clients regardless of where or how client chooses to give birth. Doulas ARE ALLOWED in most surgical suites for cesarean sections in most hospitals. So, DO NOT forget to add your doula to your birth plan if you are scheduled for a cesarean birth.

  • The doula will be available for the first few hours following the birth.

  • The doula will make a follow-up visit to clients in the hospital and again a couple of days at home following birth to check in on parents and baby and answer any questions parents may have.

  • The doula will continue to be a source for parents as needed via email or phone for first year of baby’s life. (and hopefully beyond!)

  • The doula will seek to provide four pillars of support to the clients including: Physical Support, Emotional Support, Informational Support and Advocacy Support at all times.

Terms and Conditions:

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of contract signing to hold your spot as a client of Bump2Baby. Unlike the Postpartum packages, this is NOT refundable for any reason. The remaining due may be split up and paid monthly until paid in full (before week 35). If regular monthly payments are not made, services will be terminated by the doula and no further support of any kind will be provided. All monies up to that time will be kept by Bump2BabyDoula Services LLC.

Cancellation of contract: If cancellation is made with appropriate notice it is possible a partial refund (not including the deposit) may be given. However, it is not a guarantee.

We fully understand that we cannot predict the outcome of any pregnancy, so therefore careful consideration of each circumstance will be taken under review when necessary.

All payments are accepted via, Cash or personal check at this time. A receipt will be given upon payment received. Payment is expected within 7 days of billing. After 7 days a $25 late fee shall be applied each week until paid in full.
